These terms govern your use of prayer.today and the Prayer Today mobile app. By using the service, you agree to them.

Use of the service

You may use the service for personal, family, church, educational, and other lawful purposes. You may read, print, copy, and share individual prayers freely. You may not scrape, republish, sell, or redistribute a substantial part of the collection as your own product or database without permission.

You agree not to misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, submit unlawful or harmful material, or use automated methods that place an unreasonable load on it.

Prayer requests and generated content

“Find a Prayer” uses automated systems, including artificial intelligence, to match or generate a response. Generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your circumstances. Review it thoughtfully before relying on or sharing it.

Do not include confidential, identifying, or sensitive information in a prayer request. By submitting a request, you give us permission to process, store, adapt, and use it to provide and improve the service. If the request is general and non-personal, we may adapt and publish the resulting prayer for others.

Spiritual, medical, and professional disclaimer

The service offers general spiritual and devotional content. It is not a substitute for clergy, medical care, mental-health care, legal advice, financial advice, emergency services, or any other professional service. We do not promise healing, safety, or any particular outcome. If you may be in danger or experiencing an emergency, contact the appropriate local emergency service or qualified professional.

Intellectual property

Except for public-domain scripture and other material identified as belonging to others, the service, its design, software, and collection are protected by intellectual-property laws. The permission to share individual prayers does not transfer ownership or permit use of our branding in a way that suggests endorsement.

Third-party services and links

The service may rely on or link to third-party services. We are not responsible for their content, availability, security, or privacy practices. Your use of those services may be governed by separate terms.

Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We do not guarantee that the service will always be available, error-free, or preserved indefinitely. App features may vary by device, operating system, and location.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, goodwill, or opportunities arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Apple App Store terms

If you downloaded the app from Apple’s App Store, these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app and is not responsible for claims relating to it, except as required by law. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them as they relate to your use of the app.

Termination

We may restrict or terminate access if you materially violate these terms or misuse the service. Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination will survive.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The revised terms will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
