A Prayer for Moderation with Alcohol
Loving God, thank You for the good gifts of this life. Teach me to enjoy them with a grateful and steady heart.
Grant me self-control when I reach for a drink. Help me know when enough is enough, and give me the wisdom to stop.
Guard my mind, my body, and my relationships. Where I feel a pull toward excess, give me Your gentle strength to choose balance.
Keep me honest with myself, and open to help when I need it. In Jesus' name, Amen.
