A Closing Prayer for a Meeting

Father, thank You for the time we have shared today. Thank You for every voice at this table, for honest words and patient listening, and for the work we were able to do together.

Take the decisions we have made and let them bear good fruit. Where we chose wisely, confirm it. Where we missed something, correct us gently and give us another chance to get it right.

Now send us out with peace. Give us energy for the tasks we've agreed to, and grace for the people waiting for us at home and at work.

Watch over each person here until we meet again — keep them safe, keep them well, and keep them close to You.

When to Pray This

Read this at the end of any meeting to close the time with gratitude instead of a rushed goodbye. It works for boards, committees, ministry teams, and workplaces alike — and it's short enough that no one checks their watch.
