A Closing Prayer for Bible Study
Lord, thank You for this time in Your Word. Thank You for what we read, for what we understood, and even for the questions we're still carrying.
Don't let tonight end at this table. Take what You showed us and plant it deep, so it comes back to us in the middle of the week — in traffic, at work, in the hard moment when we need it most.
Make us doers of the Word, not hearers only. Where it comforted us, let us rest in it. Where it challenged us, give us courage to change.
Watch over each of us until we open these pages together again. Bless our homes, our families, and our sleep tonight.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
When to Pray This
Pray this as the discussion winds down and the Bibles are closing. If your group shares prayer requests, gather them first and mention them simply — "and Lord, You heard everything we shared" — before this closing.
A Verse to Hold On To
"But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves." — James 1:22 (KJV)
