A Short Travel Prayer Before Leaving Home

Lord, before I turn the key in the lock, I put this trip in Your hands.

Guard the way there. Guard the way back. Guard this house while it stands empty and the people I love wherever they are.

Whatever today's road holds, You are already on it.

In Jesus' name, Amen.
