A Short Prayer for My Daughter

Lord, bless my daughter today. Keep her safe wherever she goes, and glad in who You made her to be.

Guard her heart, brighten her spirit, and put good people in her path. When the day is unkind, remind her whose she is.

She is loved — by You, and by me. Watch over her until we're together again.

In Jesus' name, Amen.

When to Pray This

Small enough to pray at a red light or in the seconds after her text comes in. Some parents pray it every morning at the same kitchen window — a little liturgy of love.
