How to Intercede in Prayer: A Simple Prayer to Begin

Father, teach me to pray for others.

I don't always know what to say, and my mind wanders when I try. But You are not grading my words. You are listening to my heart.

Give me one name today — one person to carry to You. Remind me of them at odd moments, and each time, let me simply say: "Lord, be near to them."

Help me keep going when nothing seems to change, because You are working where I cannot see.

Thank You for hearing even the smallest prayer.
