A Christmas Dinner Prayer

Father, thank You for this Christmas table — for the food before us, the hands that prepared it, and the faces gathered around it.

Thank You most of all for Jesus, Your gift to a world that needed You.

Bless this meal to our strength and this evening to our joy. Be near the ones who could not be with us, and let the warmth of this room follow us into the days ahead.

In Jesus' name, Amen.

Say this just before Christmas dinner is served, when everyone is seated and the kitchen finally goes quiet. Any voice at the table can read it — young or old.
