A Prayer for a New Grandchild

Father, thank You for this brand-new life. Ten tiny fingers, ten tiny toes, and a whole family already in love. I have waited for this little one, Lord, and here they are — Your idea before they were our joy.

Bless this baby. Let them grow strong and healthy, sleep well (soon, Lord, for everyone's sake), and be surrounded by love on every side.

Bless the new parents too. Steady them through the tired nights, and give them wisdom for all the firsts ahead.

And thank You for making me a grandparent — for letting the story keep going.
