A Thanksgiving Dinner Grace

Father, for this food and the hands that made it, for this home and the love that keeps it, for this family, gathered one more year — we give You thanks.

Bless this meal to our bodies and this time to our hearts. Remember those with less than we have, and teach us to share the way You give: freely, and with joy.

When to Pray This

Say this grace right before Thanksgiving dinner is served. It is short on purpose — warm enough to mean it, brief enough that the mashed potatoes are still hot.
