A Prayer for Emotional Healing
Father, some wounds don't show up on any scan. You know mine. The old hurt I carry quietly. The words I can't unhear. The grief that still catches me off guard.
You are the God who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds — so I bring You mine, all of them, even the ones I've never said out loud.
Heal me gently, Lord. You know I am tender there. Where bitterness has taken root, loosen it. Where shame keeps whispering, silence it with Your kindness. Where fear built walls, teach me to trust again — slowly, safely, at Your pace.
Thank You for the people You use to heal: honest friends, patient family, and wise counselors whose work is a gift from You. Give me humility to accept help, and courage to keep going when healing feels slow.
Make my heart whole again — not as it was before, but stronger, softer, and more like Yours.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
When to Pray This
