A Goodnight Prayer for My Husband

Father, the day is done, and here we are. Thank You for my husband — for one more ordinary day beside him.

Quiet his mind tonight. Take the unfinished list, the replayed conversations, the worries that wait for the dark. He can set them down now; You'll be up all night anyway.

Give him deep, unbroken sleep, and let him wake rested, knowing he is loved — by You, and by me.

When to Pray This

Pray this beside him as the lights go out, or silently with your hand on his back once he's already asleep. It's a gentle way to end even the hardest day.
