A Prayer for Strength for Someone Else

Lord, someone I love is running on empty, and I can't carry their load for them. But You can.

Be their strength today. When they wake up dreading the day, meet them there. When they hit the hardest hour, hold them up. When they think no one sees how hard they're trying — You see.

Give them rest that actually restores, one small encouragement they didn't expect, and the deep-down certainty that they are not alone.

And show me my part, Father: a call, a meal, a quiet hour of help. Make me one of the ways You answer this prayer.

In Jesus' name, Amen.

When to Pray This

Pray this when someone you love is stretched thin — a caregiver, a single parent, a friend in crisis. Then, if you can, tell them you prayed. It often matters more than we guess.
