A Prayer for My Wife's Strength
Father, my wife is strong — everyone says so, and everyone is right. But I'm her husband, and I see what it costs her. So today I'm asking You for her strength, because even the strong need somewhere to set things down.
You see everything she holds together: the schedules, the feelings, the family, the hundred invisible things that only get noticed when they're missed. Renew her, Lord. Not just enough to keep going — renew her all the way down, where the tiredness actually lives.
Give her permission to rest without guilt. Give her one thing today that is only hers — a quiet hour, a real laugh, an answered prayer. And when she feels like she's failing everyone, tell her the truth louder than the lie: she is doing better than she knows.
Make me part of Your answer. Open my eyes to what I can carry for her, and don't let me wait to be asked.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
When to Pray This
Pray this in seasons when she's running on fumes — new baby, aging parents, heavy work, or all of it at once. Then look for one thing you can quietly take off her plate today.
