An Anniversary Prayer

Father, thank You for this anniversary — for every year, the easy ones and the ones we earned. Thank You for the day we said our vows, young and sure and with no idea what we were promising. And thank You that You knew, and stayed with us anyway.

Thank You for the life we have built: the home, the memories, the people we love, the thousand small mornings nobody photographed. Those were the marriage, Lord, as much as any milestone.

Bless the years still ahead of us. Keep our love growing, not just lasting. Give us health to enjoy each other, humor for whatever comes, and grace to keep forgiving as we go.

Until our last anniversary, let us keep choosing each other — and keep thanking You.
